Everyone experiences scary moments during their lifetime. Let me make all other stories sound like fairy tales. It all began on a night when the moon was full in the sky. My father and I were watching a documentary on bats. Suddenly, something crashed into one of the living room windows. "What the heck was that?" I whispered to my dad. "I dunno. Probably just a bird." he answered. The next day at school my class met the new band teacher. He was very tall and had dark black hair. He looked like the kind of guy who got a lot of sun, but he was extremely pale. "Oh my gosh. He is hot!" my best friend, Sherry, whispered to me. "No, he is not." "Yes, he is. I wonder what his name is." As if in response to her question, the teacher said, "Hello, my name is Andrew Guaum. You may call me Mr. G." The slow way he said it was rather strange and really gave me the creeps. Over the next week three students vanished. The first one to disappear was Sherry. The next one was a boy named Gerry, followed by a girl named Alexandria. No one had a clue as to where they had gone. Me, I had my own theory. Three weeks later I was again watching a show on television when the moon was full. Like last time there was a crash outside the house. I decided to investigate. Carefully I went outside and looked around. Of all the things that could have been there, there was nothing. The next day was Friday the thirteenth. It was also Halloween. I think there was something wrong with the calendar. Everyone was suspicious of everyone else. Even though we were all being extremely cautious, one person disappeared. We all realized Tyler was missing during fifth hour. He had stayed after band class because Mr. Guaum had wanted to talk with him. It was then I knew something was wrong with our teacher. Something was really wrong. During the next three classes I formed a plan. I was not sure if it would work, but I was going to try. After eighth period I hurried to the band room and hid among the percussion instruments. There I waited. After a couple of minutes Mr. Guaum entered the room. He glanced around as if to make sure he was alone. Then, he headed for the last practice room and opened it. In side was a coffin and Sherry, Gerry, Alexandria, and Tyler. They were dead, drained of their blood. My suspicions had been right. "Oh my gosh! He is a vampire!" I whispered to myself. I jumped up and shouted, "Hey!" "What?" Mr. Guaum spun around on his heels. "Ya know, Mr. G. You really are a jerk." I started to back away. "And another thing, I never really liked you, and I think your clarinet playing stinks!" "Ha! You think you are so smart, little girl, don’t you. But you don’t really think you can get away from me, now that is a silly thought because I know where you live and which window to use to get into your house." "Oh, really?" I was almost to the door that led outside. "Get away from there, girl." "Whatever!" I screamed, throwing open the door causing sunlight to come pouring in. As he burnt down into a pile of ashes, Mr. Guaum shrieked, "You little idiot! You get an F!"
