Her Mother's Lament

What happened to my baby?
She ran away one day,
Tore off her pleated sundress
In exchange for torn black tights.

She ran away one day.
My daughter gave herself to him
In exchange for torn black tights
And what she thought was love.

My daughter gave herself to him.
He led her further away.
And what she thought was love
Stole her innocence.

He led her further away,
Tore off her pleated sundress,
Stole her innocence.
What happened to my baby?
