Borderline

I hate you
when I think about your flaws and errors,
the bad you.
(But please don't leave me!
I love you so much,
the wonderful, perfect,
good you.)
You know how I wanted to
hurt myself,
when everything seemed so
unreal. (Nothing was
what it is.) That's what
I want - to be alone
with myself in another world
where truth is
untrue and life can hide from itself.
(I need you to
save me. Please don't
leave me alone.)
